We invite you to take a bit of time, go within, and visit with your memories, thoughts, and feelings as we celebrate the life and love of our dear Betsy. Our hope is that we can all find a little piece of Betsy here.
Here we are. In a place to celebrate the life of the woman I loved. Thank you for coming here and sharing in the ongoing flow of love.
Betsy had an innate happiness and love that was infectious. And, apparently, it spread through the community. There is no doubt as to how Betsy will live on with me. Almost everything I take in is a lifeline to the connection we shared so closely for so many years.
We had a special bond and one of the many things I loved about her is that she had such sweet wonderful deep friendships with so many people in her life. Through the almost year that I’ve shared updates with our community, I’ve come to know and appreciate how strong the kinship is here. Thank you for letting me know how special Betsy was to you.
I’m pleased that this site exists to support what you hold in your hearts. I hope you explore, share, shed a tear, return on occasion, linger, allow a laugh to accompany some delightful memory, and live the life you want, with love in your hearts for those you love and with the flow of expressing that love. Generously. Time is short.

My world has changed so drastically since my sister’s death. And as time goes on, the reality of her loss deeply sinks in.
My family and some friends who cared for Bets in her last days had a small memorial in La Jolla, CA. We knew that there were many others who wanted to participate in some kind of tribute.
This website gives people a place to share, to connect to others in the same common space of grief in all its stages. There are so many people who were affected by her death.
I welcome everyone’s outpouring of love for my sister. It certainly won’t bring her back, but it can help spread some of her beautiful light that she shared with others. I didn’t realize how amazingly happy she was until she was gone, and how many wonderful people played an important role in that.
I eagerly await everyone’s sharing: their experiences with her, love for her, pictures of her…. She was sooooo loved and adored by so many people.

Nancy (Sister)
It’s now been several months since Betsy passed away. Before her illness, she and I would often go a few weeks without checking in.
So not hearing from her for awhile was not that unusual. Now I see her photo on my dresser every morning, I “hear” her voice and her laugh as clearly as ever, and it’s easy to think “when will we talk again next?” for just a moment.
It’s hard to accept “never.”
I’m sure many of you feel much the same. To see her beautiful smile and remember her joy… How could it be that she’s no longer here?!!
I hope that through this website we all take comfort in knowing that we are on this sorrowful/joyful/crazy one-way trip together and fortunate enough to cross paths.
