I moved to Harrisburg in 1984 and went to work with Bob in a real estate office.
Within a year I became one of Ann's best buddies. I know that Donna O was the
4th daughter but, somehow they labled me as a daughter too? Over the years
we got to know the whole Kranich/Lehrman family. Dave, Alex and I spent many happy
times with Jimmy and Betsy and their wonderful girls. We thought that Betsy and
Jimmy, and Larry and Val too, were the happiest couples we knew. Alex is almost
the same age as Jesse and Cass and Nancy's son. We spent many wonderful times
with them when they came to Harrisburg, or when we went to Arizona. I was actually
having lunch with Ann at the Colonade when Jimmy called to tell her that Betsy had
given birth to Jess. I had never seen Ann so happy. The Kranich kids always made
Dave, Alex and I feel like part of the family. Betsy was one of the warmest, kindest,
loving, talented, and good mothers that we knew. Her girls are a testament to this.
Next time we come to California, we hope to stop and meet Phil and Story.
Jimmy, we're always here for you and the girls and Phil if you need us for anything.
Sending all our love to you on this sad, but full of wonderful memories day.
Hope Betsy and Ann are hanging out and Bob is trying to sell someone a cloud.
Lots of love,
Shelley, Dave, and Alex
