To our friends wherever you may be, we’re in San Diego, though we’re fully packed for a trip to Colorado and Arizona. But in the near eleventh hour before leaving, we had to take Betsy to the emergency room with the strange symptoms of sudden numbness in her right arm and leg. It wasn’t a stroke but it turns out to be a brain tumor. She’s having it surgically removed Wednesday morning (tomorrow) at 7:30 here in San Diego. Not until it is out will they be able to determine if it is is benign or malignant. We're shocked, as you probably are, and scared, by this situation that came out of nowhere. Betsy’s spirits are high, she’s got a great attitude about this simple twist of fate, and her spiritual growth through this journey is very active. Thank you for your thoughts, prayers, energy, votes for preserving democracy, hope for seeing us soon, and patience in waiting for any questions to be answered in my next update to you.
