Date: February 11, 2023 at 11:50:26 AM PST Something I failed to share in the update I sent out two days ago… I’ve probably succeeded in conveying how much we love staying in this wonderful AirBnB cottage near the beach. But I failed to mention that while we were able to extend our stay past the month of January, the house was already committed to someone else starting February 17th. So, in our usual vagabond lifestyle. . . (for those of you who don’t know, Betsy and I have been living in an RV for the past 6 years, traveling a circuit that takes us to Colorado, Arizona, California and Oregon. And for those of you who don’t know our gypsy history, read this New York Times article about us: https://www.nytimes.com/2014/08/31/opinion/sunday/a-family-hits-the-road.html ) . . . we’re moving on. I would be remiss in not including that in our update. But we’re not going back on the road as would have been our style. We’re moving into Jessica and Phil’s house in Los Angeles. We’re trading in the pristine beach in La Jolla for a forest oasis in the center of the city of dreams. We’ll be carrying Betsy up the winding 53 step stairway into their hilltop sanctuary. But if you happen to know of any place in southern California that does have a connection to the ocean and doesn’t have 53 vertical steps, I welcome hearing from you. We’re still open to oceanic options. As my dad used to say, “when you’re through changing, you’re through”. Again, thank you for your care, from reading these updates, to reaching out to us with your own words. Love, Jimmy Here’s yet more pictures to accompany this addendum…

Our current beach palace, about to turn into a pumpkin.

Our chariot home, no longer viable given Betsy’s immobility.
