Howdy,

The good news is that Betsy got released from the hospital yesterday, We’re staying at the home of dear friends in La Jolla, California. Betsy is recovering very well from the surgery and has 100% of her normal brain function. She’s already investigating the best flights from Athens to Berlin for Cassidy and we’ll be seeing Jessica and her family today here, a stone’s throw from the Pacific. The less good news is that, while we’re still waiting for the pathology report, which we’re told could take as much as yet another week, we do know that they were not able to get the whole tumor out, and that it is malignant. But it’s a kind of cancer that won’t spread to other parts of her body. (As she wants me to add: in other words it’s all in her head.) The plan being presented is radiation and chemotherapy but we’re looking into other avenues as well. We’ll know more once we get the final report and as we do more research into the viability of alternatives to traditional treatment. As I reported earlier, she is in wonderful spirits. This whole situation has empowered her, giving her the connection with herself that she has longed for, giving her more of both clarity about what she wants and permission to communicate it freely, grounding her in a practical understanding of the implications of what she’s facing, while lifting her with love, laughter, and such felt reverence for life. Again, we both thank you for your care, support, and love, in all the expressions they are manifesting. I’ll keep you informed as we learn more. May your own health align with your desires and may you enjoy being lifted in resonance with your community, wherever you are. Happy Halloween, Jimmy & Betsy
